ERIC WOLF

storyteller & CREATIVE DEVELOPMEnt of PRODUCT/BRAND DIGITAL MEDIA CONTENT & STRATEGY.

Creative and results-driven brand and content manager/strategist with over 10 years of experience in driving high-impact campaigns in entertainment, automotive, and digital media. Proven success in leading cross-functional teams, managing scalable productions, and delivering content that achieves measurable reach and engagement. Skilled in storytelling, client relations, and project management, with a track record of contributing to globally recognized campaigns.

My love for storytelling began in the most ordinary of places — my childhood home — where a small group of friends and I turned living rooms and backyards into makeshift film sets. With a camcorder in hand, I discovered the thrill of creating worlds, and capturing imagination on screen. That spark would ultimately lead me into my professional career, right here in Detroit - where I’d find myself on the streets of Gotham and Metropolis, while Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice filmed in the heart of the city. A dream realized for a comic book nerd, I was able to build relationships with the most talented people in the film industry and learn from the most prolific producers, while assisting them on set throughout all stages of production.

Los Angeles called next — and with it, a new chapter. At Atlas Entertainment, under the leadership of Charles Roven, I stepped into the role of Creative Executive. My days were spent in the trenches of story development: shaping ideas with veteran filmmakers, championing the visions of emerging voices, and nurturing narratives that spanned from the intimate to the epic. It was a front-row seat to the alchemy of collaboration, where scripts were transformed into living, breathing worlds. Fostering relationships across the industry - I was fortunate to help bring amazing ideas from page to screen.

Eventually, the story brought me home again — back to Detroit, a city whose grit and spirit have always been cinematic in their own right. Now, within the automotive industry, I channel my storytelling lens into a different kind of narrative: the legacy of Detroit’s own. At Weber Shandwick, I’ve led campaigns for General Motors’ most iconic brands and products — from the ground-shaking HUMMER EV to the legendary Corvette — crafting stories and campaigns that honor the machines and the people who keep the city’s heartbeat alive.

What began with short films among friends has become a lifelong pursuit: finding the humanity in every story, whether it belongs to a caped crusader, a visionary filmmaker, or a homegrown brand built on the streets of Detroit.

When I’m not shaping narratives and developing content strategies, you can find me on the golf course - hopefully somewhere in the fairway.

the work

THE AGENCY SIDE:

I’ve had the honor of shaping stories for some of General Motors’ most legendary brands — bringing their vehicles to life through campaigns that celebrate not just machines, but icons. From the uncompromising power of GMC, to the bold spirit of Chevrolet, the refined elegance of Buick, and the timeless prestige of Cadillac — each nameplate carries its own legacy, its own heartbeat, its own story waiting to be told.

Every project has been a journey into a different world, a chance to capture the soul of a brand and translate it into something audiences can feel. What follows is just a glimpse into some of my favorite chapters from this collaboration — stories that honor the past, ignite the present, and drive boldly into the future.

THE ENTERTAINMENT SIDE:

My experience in the entertainment industry has allowed me to contribute to films that have collectively generated more than $3.5 billion at the global box office. While working alongside Charles Roven — one of the highest-grossing film producers of all time, I gained hands-on experience managing and coordinating productions at every stage, from pitch development through post-production and delivery. This included projects spanning a wide range of genres, from superhero epics to large-scale heist films - in partnership with major studios and streaming platforms.

As a creative executive, I negotiated life rights and intellectual property agreements - spanning a wide range of mediums from books to video games, longform journalism, and even comics, while collaborating closely with writers and directors to help bring their visions to the screen. These projects ranged from human-driven narratives to ambitious, genre-bending stories designed to engage audiences worldwide and deliver unforgettable cinematic experiences.
